Patriot, Protector, and Author: Meet C.E. Wagoner of “When America Dies"
C.E. Wagoner has worn a lot of hats—and uniforms—over the years.
He started out as a police officer in South Florida back in 1980, and after a few years, he joined the Army to serve in the Military Police. When he left the service with an honorable discharge in 1987, he went right back into law enforcement, where he stayed until 2015. After that, he decided to pass on his knowledge by training new police officers as a Police Academy Commander in North Central Florida until 2019.
Now, at 63, he's enjoying a different pace of life.
C.E. has lived in Florida for most of his life, splitting his time between Southeast Florida and North Central Florida, where he now lives with his wife and two Shetland Sheepdogs. When he’s not writing or keeping up with current events, you’ll likely find him fishing along the Big Bend of the Florida Gulf Coast. He’s even got a U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license from his time as a fishing charter captain, though a few hurricanes later, he decided land life might be more predictable.
These days, C.E. has a serious green thumb—he loves gardening, especially hydroponics, and growing all kinds of plants.
His new book, *When America Dies: And the Fight Back!*, blends his years of experience with his reflections on modern America.
Available on Amazon in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover, the book offers readers a chance to dive into his unique take on patriotism, resilience, and the challenges facing the country today. C.E. hopes his work will inspire readers to think, discuss, and maybe even feel a bit more fired up about the future of the nation.
